I think it's going to be a while, however, before it reaches any kind of critical mass, partially due to the need to educate, partially the result of technology capabilities. The teen generation will drive this trend as their lives are inseparable from their phone apps and social lives. This means new marketing opportunities for local retail and businesses, perhaps above everything else. . I agree — the year for early adopters.
