Havre de Grace, MD, August 15, 2007 — WebAdvantage.net, (http://www.webadvantage.net), a results-centric, process-driven strategic search marketing and online advertising agency, today announced David Cease’s promotion to Director of Agency Operations. As part of the management team, Cease now supervises all aspects of internal agency operations. In addition to continuing to manage a roster of client project initiatives, Cease now also serves as internal and external liaison for business operations and personnel issues. WebAdvantage.net President Hollis Thomases stated that Cease’s exceptional job performance and the agency’s rapid expansion as cause to advance Cease into the newly created position.
“David’s impressive project management expertise, dependability and sound business acumen has helped us manage our dramatic growth and profitability over the last few years,” said Thomases. “Last year alone, we increased our business portfolio 50 percent, adding 18 new clients, and lost fewer than seven percent of renewing clients. With David now directing our day-to-day operations, we can continue to meet the ever-growing demand for our search marketing and online advertising services.”
Prior to joining WebAdvantage.net in 2005, Cease worked for twelve years in account management for Weber Shandwick Web Relations in Baltimore. In addition to the PRSA Bronze Anvil and Web Marketing Association awards, Cease’s search engine marketing program earned first-place in the New Applications of Technology category of the PRSA “Best in Maryland” awards. A graduate of Towson University, Cease also completed the Institute for Advanced Advertising Studies through the Mid-Atlantic Council of the American Association of Advertising Agencies and the University of Maryland.
