Hollis Thomases, founder and president of Internet marketing and online advertising agency WebAdvantage.net, was recently selected to serve on the Board of Distinguished Judges and Advisors for The Stevie Awards for Women Entrepreneurs. The council of judges and advisors, all of whom are leaders in the American business community, will choose winners in 18 categories honoring individual female entrepreneurs and their companies. U.S. women-owned businesses with less than 100 employees are eligible to be nominated for the award. The entry deadline for the 2004 Stevies Awards for Women Entrepreneurs is June 30, 2004.
The Stevie Awards were created to honor and generate public recognition of the efforts, accomplishments, and positive contributions of companies and business people worldwide. Ms. Thomases was selected as a judge in part because she is a well-regarded expert in the Internet marketing industry and regularly involved in community service. Thomases, a graduate of Cornell University, is herself an award-winning entrepreneur who sits on several advisory boards throughout Maryland, has lectured at conferences and seminars and has been recognized nationally by various media outlets.
