Hollis Thomases Selected to 40 Under 40

Hollis Thomases, founder and president of Internet marketing and online advertising agency WebAdvantage.net, has been selected as one of Baltimore’s 2003 “40 Under 40,” as published in the Baltimore Business Journal. The honor is bestowed on emerging leaders in the Baltimore area who were nominated by the business community at large. In 2003, over 200 nominations were submitted.

Building and maintaining a successful five-year-old Internet-related business despite technology market setbacks and her involvement in the community are cited as some reasons why Thomases was selected to the 40 Under 40 list. Thomases is a founding member of the Digital Bridge Initiative which connects nonprofit organizations in the Baltimore region with access to needed technology resources, she sits on the Harford County Economic Development Advisory Board, is a member of the Greater Baltimore Technology Council and the B’More Fund, a Baltimore community giving circle.

Founded in 1998, WebAdvantage.net is a private company with a staff of eleven.
