Pay Per Click (PPC) Specialist
Job Description:
The Web Ad.vantage Pay Per Click Specialist will be responsible for the overall management and success of client paid search campaigns. The PPC Specialist will execute pay-per-click keyword campaign keyword research, set-up, management, reporting and ongoing campaign optimization. The PPC Specialist will serve as the liaison between Web Ad.vantage and search engine representatives and report to Web Ad.vantage management. The PPC Specialist must “own” the paid search projects in which s/he is involved.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Pay Per Click Specialist’s duties & responsibilities will include:
- Through the client kick-off meeting process, learn and understand client’s needs and goals pertaining to paid search, particularly measurable objectives, to be able to conduct keyword research and budget forecasting to provide keyword recommendations and subsequent PPC campaign management to help achieve client goals.
- Write suggested PPC advertising copy
- Set up PPC campaigns in various search engine interfaces using unique tracking URLs for each ad
- Monitor and manage the campaign through third party campaign management software
- Extract campaign data and generate client reports
- Analyze campaign data to provide campaign optimization services to client and recommendations/highlights to project manager
- Manage and maintain daily/monthly PPC spends for multiple clients and ensure the campaigns meet the desired performance metrics
- Review/provide analysis on PPC landing pages
- Serve as liaison between Web Ad.vantage and search engine representative
Required Skills:
- Fluent knowledge of Google Adwords and Yahoo Sponsored Search
- Thorough knowledge of web analytics software, such as Google Analytics and KeywordMax
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word & Excel
- PPC copywriting & copy editing skills
- Must demonstrate a problem-solver mentality; ability to anticipate and think critically; always seeking to improve oneself or internal systems & processes
- Organizational - ability to handle multiple responsibilities at one time yet still get assignments completed in a timely basis
- Strong Follow-Up Skills - follow-up may entail contacting both staff and clients
- Interpersonal Skills
