Lisa Melvin, Search Engine Specialist
With a BA in English I began my adventure with Web Ad.vantage in 1998 and have been growing with the company ever since. Over the years I’ve enjoyed working on multiple Internet Marketing tasks with a variety of businesses from the small retailers to the large global service providers and everywhere in between. Working with client content is both educational and exciting and I can’t imagine myself doing anything else.
For the past eight years, under the strong leadership of Hollis Thomases, our team has grown in number and evolved into a powerful list of creative, resourceful and well organized members. We’re a closely-knit group involved and genuinely interested in promoting our clients’ sites and often come up with “out of the box” solutions to address specific goals. We work extremely well together to promote individual sites as well as the Internet itself because for each of us, the Internet is the exciting new frontier.
I can honestly say, “I love what I do!” and “I consistently receive positive recognition from the company I work for.” How many people are lucky enough to be able to say that?
Catherine Pancake, Director of Account Services and Senior Account Manager
I came to Web Ad.vantage from a background in operations management and website design and development. My past experiences with managing the development of award-winning websites was very positive, and I wanted to expand my knowledge to online marketing, the fastest growing segment of the marketing industry today. Web Ad.vantage and Hollis have provided me with an incredible work environment in which my experiences, ideas, and creativity are nurtured and affirmed. It’s great to work with a team of highly specialized professionals working on the cutting edge of online marketing to bring measurable, tangible benefits to our clients.
David Cease, Director of Agency Operations and Senior Account Manager
Web Ad.vantage is a refreshing change of atmosphere and attitude compared to the 12 years I experienced in the Web Relations department for a large Public Relations agency. The motto “Do one thing and do it well” really fits as Web Ad.vantage focuses on providing one core competency; online marketing. Doing so has allowed Web Ad.vantage to become true online marketing experts, an approach that is vastly different from larger agencies that offer a wide range of services, but rarely are experts in any. The dedication and expertise of Web Ad.vantage’s group of online marketing professionals is unmatched and is what sets us apart.
Externally, Web Ad.vantage client relationships are built on mutual respect where clients view us as an integral partner in their online marketing efforts and overall success. Internally, Web Ad.vantage is well managed, supportive and positive which lead to a great work environment. There is a true balance here between work and home life, something for which I and my family are thankful for. I am proud to be part of the Web Ad.vantage team.
Cassandra Burcham, Marketing Coordinator
I started at Web Advantage in 2004 as an intern from Towson University. I’m so grateful to Web Advantage for this opportunity to learn about the ever changing world of Internet marketing. I’ve learned about affiliate marketing, search engine marketing, media buying, and account management. Web Advantage has shown me so many new things in the world of Internet marketing and given me a new perspective in my career path.
Web Ad.vantage has consistently kept Connecticut Plastics on top of the search results. From their efforts, we have doubled the number of new customers per year. On the Web, "Build it and they will come" is not enough.
